I am a Dutchman by birth and American by choice.

I studied Pharmacy at the University of Groningen between 1975 and 1982.

I owned my pharmacy and worked in the Netherlands for 17 years until I sold the pharmacy .

I still hold my Dutch pharmacist license.

I also owned a company which imported sail and powerboats USA manufactured and that is reason why I frequently visited the US for business. That is how I ended up in the US , I met my wife of 10 years ,Marilyn ,on one of those trips in Orlando . My interest and hobbies are golf. water sports , sailing and fishing ( I sailed several (trans) Atlantic passages as captain.) . I flew part time as a pilot for a charter airline until 2001.

My wife and I love the outdoors and that is how we ended up owning a farm in New York

It is our escape from our busy schedule ( My wife, Marilyn is also a RE/MAX agent)

Marilyn is from this area and we her family lives in the same town.

With the help of these loyal family members we grow beautiful Christmas trees .
